Cat care is the most important thing we can do to make our cat a happy camper.  The following are some things you should consider:

• Play with your cat at least 15 to 20 minutes a day.
• Provide them with good wholesome cat food.
• Make sure they are drinking lots of water.
• Clean the litter box a least once a day, twice if you can.
• Give them plenty of cat toys to occupy their time while you are away at work.
• Utmost have good communication with your cat by spending time discussing what the did that day.
• And finally, Give them lots of love and affection.

When welcome a new kitten into your home, it’s important to have all the necessary supplies at the ready.  This means more than having food and a cat box of course, though those supplies are the first to think about.  You also want to ensure that you have a cat collar, a scratching post, a cat tree (or somewhere for the kitten to sleep), a brush, and of course an assortment of cat toys.  These cat supplies are all essential in their own right.  The purpose of the collar should be obvious, and it’s good to have kittens accustomed to wearing a collar while they’re young.  The scratching post is so that they don’t target your furniture instead!  Cat trees can also often serve as scratching posts, but it’s kittens need to learn to climb and also have somewhere to retreat if they feel threatened.  Make sure you start brushing your kitten while they’re young, otherwise they won’t like it when they’re older.  The cat toys are of course to build a rapport between owner and kitten. 

Having these supplies on hand when you’re welcoming your kitten into your home is a great idea.  It’s important that kittens get accustomed to all of these supplies while they’re young, otherwise they might become unruly with age!

It’s been widely published that the typical feline sleeps for almost 18 hours per day!  Who hasn’t caught their cat lounging in a sunbeam, sleeping on the furniture, or tuckered out underneath the bed.  Since cats spend so much time sleeping, it’s essential to have a cat bed for your favorite feline.  In addition to providing your cat a comfortable place to sleep, cat beds keep the cat hair off your furniture. 

Cat beds come in different shapes and styles to suit the needs of all kinds of different cats.  Perhaps your fluffy Persian cat would prefer a bed with an actual frame and a plush pillow, while a more adventurous cat might be fine with a standard wicker frame and a bit of fabric lining.  Cats are quite particular about where they sleep, and with good reason, so make sure you choose the bed that’s right for your cat.  Otherwise you may just have another ornament for your household!

My cat Gizmo gets very cold in the winter.  He constantly wants to go under the blankets to keep warm.  Because of the price of electricity I have to keep the heat down to 65 degrees.  I feel so sorry for him but would never try to dress him up in cat clothes because that would be mean to do this tough boy!  So I went online and found him a cat bed that heating.

The price was not very high and he absolutely loves it!  Now he jumps in his heated bed which I carry to any room in the house that I am in and he can stay warm and we can stay near each other!

It seems like if humans don’t have water or a coffee drink in their hand, they have an energy drink.  Turns out there is an energy drink for cats, too—catnip tea!  Brew a cup and let them go.  Mine roll around a lot and fall off things, but they seem to enjoy themselves, and catnip is a natural remedy to aid their digestion as well as a favorite treat.

Cat Palace USA also has healthy treats (and food) for cats to eat, but what about cat beds so that cats can sleep comfortably before drinking their catnip tea?  Maybe you should have an energy drink, too, so you can keep up with Kitty.
