The news about Michael Jackson’s untimely death is everywhere. And regardless of how we might feel about the chaos in his personal life, his incredible talent has no doubt touched our lives.

Everyone is talking about Michael Jackson untimely passing this week  and we would like to share the video of a cat dancing to Michael’ s greatest hit song ” Thriller”.  It is fun and  you’ll enjoy it!  This “Thiller” cat dance reminds me of the reaction our cats get from playing with our interactive cat toys .

There are also special cat products like Petromalt which can help to prevent hairballs. Depending on the frequency of hairballs, some veterinarians recommend regular ingestion of Petromalt, while others will recommend once per month use.

First off you should cat proof your home.  Make sure that there are not any plants or poisons (like cleaners) that your cat can get into and get sick from.
Watch your cats teeth or watch the way that they eat.  If it looks like they are only eating on one side then there might be a tooth problem. Take your cat to the vet to have its teeth checked regularly.
A cats diet is very important.  Try not to overfeed your cat depending on how much exercise it gets.  An indoor – outdoor cat will need more food then a cat that is only indoors.
Try to keep your cat groomed by brushing its hair at least once a week.  Hair mats can be very painful, by keeping your cat groomed you will assure that hair mats will not appear.
If you cannot bath your cat wipe him or her down with a wet washcloth.

While I find this interesting and I think that those cats are all very cute, I feel proud to walk around my town with my Domestic short haired cat “Kuro” in his cat carrier.

NEW YORK (WABC) — It’s been said that cats have nine lives. Lucky may have used more than one earlier this month.

The cat fell 26 stories out of his owner’s apartment window.

“I guess he thought he was safer than he actually was,” Keri Hostetler said.

The window in Keri’s home office was only open 6 inches, but that was wide enough for Lucky, a curious cat, to squeeze through.

Lucky’s terrifying fall and extraordinarily graceful landing were captured on film.

First of Lucky perched dangerously on the ledge, and then a stomach-turning shot of Lucky midair. Finally, they captured Lucky, after landing, on his feet on a neighbor’s balcony 26 stories below.

Amazingly, Lucky escaped with minor injuries.

Three-year old Lucky truly lived up to his name. Now, after a brief hospital stay, he is happy to be home. His owner says she hopes other high-rise cat owners take note….

“No windows ever open, ever again,” Hostetler said.

“JJ,” said Joey, “Have you noticed how much time Mom and Dad spend cleaning up our old litter box?”

JJ, who had been sitting in the Habikat Cat Patio watching the leaves falling in the yard said, “Well, I
haven’t been keeping a record of it but they both spend some time getting it cleaned up and in order.
Why do you ask?”

Joey nodded and then went on, “Auzzie said that it is going to be a hard winter after this drought we’ve
had and he thinks we might be spending more time indoors this winter. I know that I hate going out in
the cold.”

JJ replied, “What’s your point? How does one affect the other?”

Joey stretched and went on, “The other day when we were over at Maggie’s house for her birthday party
I noticed that she had a LitterMaid litter box near the backdoor. When I mentioned it to her she said that
her folks had found that it was the best way to keep the area neat and clean. I thought that with
Christmas coming on we might get one for Mom and Dad, to make their lives a little easier.”

“Have you asked Auzzie what he thinks?” JJ asked.

Joey replied, “He seems to know a lot about the different models of cat litter boxes there are. He said theyare easy to use and the are self-cleaning, too! The specially designed receptacles make the cleaning job
a snap.”
