Containing Adventurous Kitties

dog_attack2Cats don’t know, but the neighborhood beyond the backyard fence can be quite a dangerous place.  There are cars on the road, other cats, and even wild animals that could pose a threat to the common housecat.  It’s important to keep cats and kittens contained to an area that you know is safe, and to do this, a radio fence is one of the best solutions.  Radio fences can work for cats of all ages, and by just attaching a collar to their neck, it’s possible to keep them out of trouble.  In fact, most cats are quick learners and might not even need to use the collar and radio fence after a while once the boundaries are established in their minds.  You can set up a radio fence in the backyard, or in the home.  There are also radio fences for dogs.

The radio fence is an excellent way to keep your cat contained in a specific area because of its effectiveness and because it doesn’t harm the cat.  When the cat ventures outside the fenced area, the collar will provide them a tiny shock, that will cause them to take a step back.
