One of the most thing that drives me crazy is when my cat Jazz sits at the door to go outside. When he comes back inside, he immediately wants to go right back out doors a few seconds later. Then I let him back out, and sometimes he even wants to come right back in again, just to repeat the same annoying process. Believe it or not, there is actually a reason why cats do this is they are actually checking on their territory, which they like to do very often unfortunately. So once they go out doors to check out their out door territory, then they want to go back in and check on their inside territory, and it basically sometimes turns into a never ending battle.
Installing a cat door will surely end your days of frustration when your cat wants you to get up and open the door for them every few seconds. They can just go in and out as they please. Also, don’t think that cat doors are only useful for doors that lead out doors. It is a great idea to put cat doors in areas where there is a litter box, and you want to keep your other pets out of that particular room. In this case you would just make a small enough cat door so that only an actual cat could fit through.
