Jazz and His Friends

April 2nd, 2013 · CatPalaceUSA Family

Jazz with his fish

Jazz! My Most Favorite Feline Friend.

jazz 1Jazz came to the Cat Palace USA family in December 2007 from the Human Society of Frederick.  They had no prior history about him, however, he has turn out to be the most lovable cat in the entire family.  He just loves to sit on the nightstand every evening and play with his salt-water fishes.  The fish come over to the glass and just look back. It is very laughable and funny to watch the interaction against predator and prey!

You will find Jazz many places on the Cat Palace USA web site.  He just adores being a famous cat around the world.  One can tell this with his smug smile under the cat jewelry section and the shopping cart.  Let us know if you find him somewhere else.

Our Cat Teattle and Jazz have become great pals.  Wherever you find one, you’ll find the other.  They both like to roam the property together spending time sunbathing, playing with the field mice and chasing each other around, just like Michael did with Teattle before he went to heaven. It should be noted that Teattle is Michael sister who were the best of friends.

2012 The Year of the Maine Coon Cat

January 11th, 2012 · Rhinestone Cat Collars, Uncategorized

Last week when I was in the Pet Store there was a beautiful Maine Coon Cat for addoption.  I have owned several Maine Coon Cats and because of this I would like to start this year by sharing my experience with the various breeds of cats with their history, traits, temperament and characteristics.

The Maine Coon Cat is considered to be one of the oldest natural breeds in North America and generally regarded as a native of the state
of Maine.  It is the official Maine State Cat

There are a number of attractive legends surround its origin. One being, however, impossible, belief is that it originated from
matings between semi-wild, domestic cats and raccoons. This myth, bolstered by the bushy tail and the most common coloring (a raccoon-like brown tabby) led to
the adoption of the name ‘Maine Coon.’  Another popular theory is that the Maine sprang from the six pet cats Marie Antoinette sent to Wiscasset, Maine when she was planning to escape from France during the French Revolution. Most breeders today believe that the breed originated in mating between pre-existing short-haired domestic cats and overseas longhairs.

Maine Coons are highly people-oriented cats. They do not constantly pester you for attention, but prefer to just “hang out” with their owners to
investigate whatever activity you’re involved in and “helping” when they can. They are not known as “lap cats”, however most Maine Coons will stay close by, probably occupying the chair next to yours instead. They will also follow you from room to room and wait outside a closed door for you to emerge. They just love to wear beautiful rhinestone cat collars enhancing their statute.

Cats and the Great Outdoor

September 1st, 2011 · Cat Window Purch

Well we all know that our feline who live indoors spend their day looking outside and wonder if they will ever be able to go out and chase the birds and bees.  This is why I purchased a cat window perch for all my cats to be comfortable while I am away at work.  They spend their nights and days looking out the window in a safe environment.

Cat Rights

August 30th, 2011 · Cat Houses, Out Door Cat House

Yesterday, I meet a young woman whom spends her life protecting cats.  She finds and locates street cats and then tries to find homes for her new found friends.  One should know that millions of Cats are killed every year by kill societies. I would ask everyone to participate helping these cat organizations by supporting their fundraising activities, volunteering your time and adopt these cats.  There are organizations all over our country who need your help.  Please look up this organizations in your area and support our Cats.  Remember Cats have rights to have a loving home and being taken care of.  Please contact Cat Palace USA so we might direct you to help in the Orange County, California.  Cats need love too! We would also like you to help our outdoor abandon cats by purchasing an outdoor cat house to protect our feline friends from the weather.
